Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television programs. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents left for the US where they were granted asylum. Her family was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family of two sisters. Ghanizada began her career in the world of television with a few National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a festival. A few of her TV roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting role in the science fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009).
